Beyond the birding itineraries, Lucas Yanai is hired as a bilingual guide-interpreter in Bonito, accompanying and leading English-speaking individuals or groups through the region’s attractions — including for inbound agencies and tour operators. He also guides itineraries in Spanish, but interpreting is not offered in that language, and we do not provide simultaneous interpreting for stages or events. See the About page for details.

In general, autumn and spring tend to offer more balanced weather conditions and increased behavioural activity, especially related to breeding and territorial defence. Periods of intense summer heat and harsher winter conditions may bring variations in the presence of migratory species and in thermal comfort. Bird Bonito provides binoculars for hire, subject to availability. If you have your own equipment, we recommend bringing it for greater familiarity during observations.
